UKRIANIANS MAKING CARDS
Last Tuesday I met with these ladies to do cards. We rotate from working to set up their prayer journals and cards. They are almost done with their journals. This past week we did cards and you can see they are doing very well. Go to my other blog (click side panel) to see more of their cards. I am very grateful to the ladies who send me supplies that we cannot buy in Ukraine. When I put out something new I get lots of ohhhs and ahhhs and they get so excited. It is truly a joy for me. Bless your heart for those of you who contribute. I couldn't do it without you. Love & Hugs, Coleen

The Amazing Journey of Faith Conference, November 2009
This month gave several of us the grand privilege of working with some 50 women who attended this conference. We had ladies from a large cross section that included Ukrainians, Americans, South Africans and Dutch. The Lord blessed and we all went away feeling refreshed and encouraged. To see more pictures that are not on this blog go to http://teaontheterrace.blogspot.com/

The Amazing Journey of Faith Conference
The week before this conference we thought we would have a small group, but at the last it filled up and there were more than we had room to house. Our limit of 50 filled and we had ladies in cabins and the lodge of Pine Branch Retreat. We had a great time of fellowship, crafts, and meetings. Vicky Nelson led the group in talks about the journey of faith. Tanya Sokolovski led in being women/wives of faith and I (Coleen Franks)led them in scrapbooking their journey of faith. I am the one knelt down in front. Vicky is right behind me and Tanya is to my left. More pix soon.

The Gratefulness Spot - 365 Days of Gratitude
This group of ladies are the prayer warriors of our church. As pictured here, they are also scrapbooking what they are thankful for every day of the year. We meet monthly to set up our pages for the following month. Then they do some decorating, but also continue it at home. We all are learning to stay conscious of God's many blessing in life by simply writing at least one thing each day that he has done for us. It is a lot of fun as we get to add pictures of loved ones or even magazine pictures of things we just like or represent something we are thankful for. In addition it is a place where we can chronicle events that happen in the month and so it makes a diary-like record. Some also add verse, songs, poems, just anything that suits your sense of gratefulness. Why don't you try it? Any notebook will do and then let me know what you think. I'd love to hear.

Heritage of Faith Scrapbooks
Not long ago I had the privilege of leading three different groups of ladies in a process of documenting their faith. These books are an expression of one's faith and a testimony for family and future generations. The great grandchildren will see pictures of you, but how will they know what you believed if you do not write it down. What an opportunity to influence future generations. We all had a great time putting in the pictures and writing about what led to salvation, their baptism, who influenced them, how they pray, their church and its various events, etc. I even had a wonderful group of deaf ladies who did this. Thank you to all of you who have supported this ministry. I have been so blessed to see the response. All three classes want me to return in the fall to do another class. I suggested a scrapbook on "things we are grateful for" or a prayer journal/scrapbook. All glory and honor to Him who gives us grace.
